Understanding Senior Care Options & How to Pay for Them

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with many families, guiding them through the often overwhelming world of senior care options, insurance, and costs. Some of these conversations are heartbreaking because sometimes, there are no perfect answers, only options that are less difficult.
To help, I’ve written a few articles that cover different senior care options, Medicare, Medicaid spend-downs, and ways to pay for care. I also address the temptation of going to a home offering ultra low rates. While the answers aren’t always simple, my hope is that these resources will make the process a little easier for you and your family to navigate.
